Charity Yoga in Botanic Gardens - STYLEGUIDE <> PUSH PULL GIVE
Come practice yoga amidst lush greenery at this unique yoga event at the Botanic Garden! Release all your worries and stresses of the city and embrace the tranquility of Yoga in the Park.
This is a special yoga class conducted by STYLEGUIDE and PushPullGive to help raise donations for Babes Pregnancy Crisis Support, an organisation that envisions a more inclusive society where every pregnant teenager needing support will not feel estranged or marginalised.
As of 2015, Babes — which is the only voluntary welfare organisation in Singapore that deals with teenage pregnancy — has reached out to 436 girls. The Report on Registration of Births and Deaths published by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority in 2013 showed that there are an average of 1,300 cases of teenage pregnancies annually.
This special yoga class will be conducted by Elaine, a mindfulness meditation coach, speaker, facilitator, yoga instructor and reiki healer. Her focus is on the integration of mindfulness, neuroscience, yoga, and somatic embodiment. She is the director and founding teacher at Yoga Tribe and also conducts Yoga classes for PushPullGive.
Come and enjoy this special yoga event for a good cause!
Please bring your own yoga mat.
The yoga session will take place at the Plant House, which is near the Cluny Road entrance.
